Sodium Silicate, Rose Flower Extract, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Glycerin, Pullulan, Cucumber Fruit Extract, Licorice Root Extract.

  • For best results, use your ring finger, or an eyeshadow sponge. Tap gently onto dry, cleansed skin. Use sparingly, enough to evenly cover areas of concern.
  • Upon application, remain expressionless until thoroughly dry. Fanning over the area helps reduce drying time.
  • Once dry, check areas that you may have missed and lightly reapply.
  • The product, if used correctly should not leave any residues, however, if you have applied too much a slight whiteness may appear. To correct this, gently smudge the excess product with a damp cotton pad.
  • If applying foundation, it is preferable to avoid oil-based makeup. For longer-lasting results, use alone or apply powder make-up

TIP - If your under-eye area is particularly dehydrated, apply the tiniest amount of Ageless Eye Repair and ensure it has fully dried before layering the wrinkle serum over the top. You want to avoid using oil-based moisturizers and serums as oil may affect the adhesion of the wrinkle serum to your skin.

Glossary

Aqua (water):

water in Latin, is the word used in the INCI (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients) to label this vital element. Water is primarily used in practically all cosmetics and personal care products to dissolve many of the ingredients that impart skin benefits known as actives. It also forms emulsions where the oil and water components of the formula are combined to produce creams and lotions. These are referred to as oil-in-water emulsions, or as water-in-oil depending on the ratios of the oil and water phases.

Sodium silicate:

is the sodium salt of silicic acid (mineral derived). In the cosmetic industry, it is used as a buffering, anti-corrosive agent and an antiseptic. Lately it can be found in anti-aging formulas, due to its lifting effect.

Rosa damascena (rose) flower extract:

its tonic and soothing qualities can help combat inflammation, while its constricting action at the capillary level represents a valuable treatment for broken thread veins. The plant’s petals boast compounds that provide antioxidant and anti-aging benefits

Magnesium aluminum silicate:

a naturally occurring mineral (complex silicate) refined from purified clay. It is used primarily as a thickener, filler, absorbent, anti-caking and opacifying agent. Clay has been used for centuries to absorb and control excess oil; it is during the drying process that oil and impurities are lifted from the skin and a tightening effect is experienced. The same tightening effect experienced in a face mask is now used to tighten areas of concern such under eyes and forehead.

Glycerin:

or glycerol, is released when an oil is hydrolyzed, such as during soap-making. A common cosmetic and food ingredient used as a natural humectant and moisturizer. Glycerin is one of the oldest and most respected skin moisturizers. It has been proven in many trials (both clinical and instrumental) to increase the moisture content of the skin and protect it from becoming dry and scaly. Glycerin is listed in all of the major pharmacopoeias and is used extensively for the treatment of the skin. Our glycerin is produced from GMO-free Karanja nut oil.

Pullulan:

a polysaccharide produced from corn starch by cultivating the yeast Aureobasidium pullulans. Its main use is the manufacture of edible films such as in breath freshener or oral hygiene products. Cosmetics-wise, it is a good binding, film forming and thickening agent. It provides an antioxidant effect as well as an instant lifting (temporary) that improves the overall texture and appearance of the skin.

Acetyl hexapeptide-8 (argireline):

a synthetic neuropeptide consisting of arginine, methionine and acetylated glutamic acid. It inhibits contraction of muscles through destabilization of the SNARE complex aminoacids (argireline mimics one of them). The result is a muscle-relaxing effect similar to botox, thus reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It is also an excellent water-binding (humectant), skin conditioning and cell-communicating ingredient.

Cucumis sativus (cucumber) fruit extract:

imparts a soothing, cooling, astringent, toning, anti-inflammatory, hydrating, anti-puffiness and revitalizing properties to the skin. Largely composed of of proteins, lipids and Vitamin C, it has been classed as a superfood for skin.

Glycyrrhiza glabra (licorice) root extract:

is one of nature´s wonder botanicals thanks to its content of glycyrrhizin, glabridin and liquiritin. Licorice provides anti-inflammatory benefits that mimic cortisol and helps balance sebum production and inhibits tyrosinase, the enzyme that triggers melanin production, thus constitutes a safe and more effective alternative to hydroquinone.

Caprylyl glycol:

a coconut derived emollient, humectant, stabilizing and skin conditioning agent with mild antimicrobial activity. It can also help increase the microbial activity of other preservatives.

Citric acid:

an alpha hydroxy acid found naturally in citrus fruits. Used at very low levels to help regulate acidity to match the natural pH of the skin. Permitted food ingredient by organic certification agencies; it is produced through bacterial fermentation of sugar.

Phenoxyethanol:

used at < 0.01% this source is derived primarily from green tea and is produced synthetically by green chemistry principles. Used as a solvent to assist with a temporary lifting effect.

Ethylhexylglycerin:

is a glyceryl ether made from glycerin used as a weak preservative (in minute amounts), surfactant and skin conditioning agent, or as a carrier/suspending agent for other preservatives such as phenoxyethanol.

Propylene glycol:

derived from vegetable sources. The European supplier we source it from use a catalytic process called hydrogenolysis which converts vegetable glycerin into vegetable propylene glycol. The < 0.01% addition of vegetable propylene glycol helps to effectively retain the moisture content of skin during the lifting process.

Reviews

  1. Janine R

I’m in my 30’s and have the worst eye bags. Am too scared to have them removed, so my doctor recommended this product which is just temporary. I went to our Christmas office dinner with this under my eyes and I received lovely compliments. Some coworkers thought I’d had surgery it looked that convincing. A good investment if you hate surgery (or the price of it) and at the end of the night I just remove it with a cleanser. Great solution to my problem – thanks!!!

  2. Tina S, TN

OMG. Freaked me out when the puffiness under my eyes went and I actually looked so much younger. It took me a couple of times to get the application right, but I’ve mastered the perfect technique now. OMG is the vest way to describe my experience.

  3. Cecilie WA

I liked the serum texture and aroma of rose. I got about 5 hours wear from one application. I think I may have applied too much product as I noticed a little white on the edge of one eye, that’s why I’m giving 4 stars. Going to use again this weekend, will see if I can get the application just right.

  4. Michaela Ary / Verified Purchase

blown away by how well this works.

  5. Krisha / Verified Purchase

No surgery, no needles, no downtime. Works fast and generally lasts for me, around 5 hours. Better than the other brands as this is a serum and is really silky to apply.
