Liberation is the feeling of being free and as people who’ve been locked up, liberation takes on a deeper meaning to us. Even though we have gone to prison or jail, served our time, did our Mandatory Supervised Release (MSR) or parole, we are not fully free. When we are liberated, we’ll be able to apply for a position and not be turned away because of a conviction that we’ve already paid for. When we’re liberated, we’ll be able to move into a home without having to beg, plead, and explain that we’re not defined by the background reports that say we’re criminals. When our communities are liberated, we’ll find better solutions to hold one another accountable in ways that build each of us up and make us better rather than tearing us down and making it impossible to thrive. That’s the vision we have at Labyrinth Made Goods and that’s the vision you’re helping create with this candle. 

Liberation is our version of a fresh and clean scent; warm prairie winds blowing through newly laundered sheets with hints of clover, wild flowers, and sun-ripening stone fruit.

All of our candles are 100% soy and are hand-filled in Illinois. Proceeds from every purchase are reinvested to create opportunities that empower women who have experienced incarceration.

• Our large Brilliance candle is filled in a beautiful, custom glass vessel with the word "Resilience" wrapped around to honor the resilience we can find within ourselves. Each of the larger candles has an estimated 60-hour burn time and a net weight of 11oz.
• Our smaller Brilliance candle comes in a white tin for convenient travel. Each of the smaller candles has an estimated 35-hour burn time and a net weight of 6 oz.
• All of our fragrances are paraben-free and phthalate-free
• Our wicks are lead-free
